oh, the siren song of short hair.
it lures me in until i remember that i have spent nearly TWO YEARS growing out my locks.
even now, they only reach just past my shoulders.
this dilemma may be universal.
in the meantime,
(as i wait for clarity to come shining down)
i settle for trimming my bangs haphazardly over the sink.
this is somewhat satisfying.

i feel you. i've been growing my hair out for over 3 years now. everyone tells me to keep going to see how long it can get, and all i wanna do it chop it all off.
i'm going to keep growing it for now though.
